To assist current CSU students, faculty and staff in obtaining library materials, you can now request through GIL that an item located at the Main (Schwob) Library be sent for check out at the Music Library and vice versa. More information is available here.

As part of the Libraries' redesigned web site (http://library.colstate.edu/), you can now access CSU-purchased electronic databases, such as JSTOR, ARTStor, and Classical Music Library, off campus without modifying your browser setup. Instead a second login page will ask for your Novell login username and password.

CSU hosted the 2006 annual conference of the Southeast Chapter of the Music Library Association on October 12-14, in the Schwob School of Music.

Two digital audio music resources added in September: Classical Music Library & Naxos Music Library, large, multi-label databases of recordings, may now be accessed from anywhere on campus, 24/7, via a streamed environment.

GIL, the CSU Libraries online catalog, now features a NEW MATERIALS tab that allows users to search for new acquisitions by location, keyword, time frame (one to 5 months), and sort by call number, author, or title.

GALILEO recently added a Journals A-Z list and Citation Linker.
