Donations
The Music Library is a wonderful resource for not only the School of Music
faculty, staff, and students, and the CSU campus community, but also for Georgia and Alabama
area residents and regional musicians and teachers. The library staff greatly appreciates the
interest and support of those that visit our facility, use the collection and services, and
contribute to the library's growth and development by making monetary gifts and materials
donations. Gifts and donations add a vital dimension to the ongoing process of collection
and facility development.
If you would like to donate materials to the Music Library, please first review
the CSU Libraries Gift
Policy. Questions regarding the donation of music materials should be directed to: Roberta
Ford, Head, Music Library, at 706-641-5045 or ford_roberta@colstate.edu. Materials may be dropped
off at the Music Library in the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts at 900 Broadway, Columbus,
GA, 31901. On street parking is available near the front entrance on Broadway, and there is a
loading dock at the rear entrance on First Avenue.
Your monetary gift:
- enables the Music Library to develop targeted areas in support of new or growing programs.
- may be used to purchase and/or preserve items of significant historical or regional importance.
- may be specified by an individual or organization for the purchase of music materials in honor or remembrance of someone, or to mark a special occasion. Music Library staff would be happy to assist you in identifying items within your price range.
